Alice K Jeppesen Scholarship Details

This scholarship has been established by the W. Dean and Kenna Jeppesen Kimber Family to assist a Senior at Sky View High School in their pursuit of higher education in the Caine College of the Arts at Utah State University.

This scholarship is in honor of Alice K Jeppesen who, with selfless dedication, raised 8 children while continuously supporting her family, friends, neighbors, church, and community. She served countless hours in numerous roles throughout her life. She was always available as a listening ear for those that needed encouragement and a helping hand. Literacy was particularly important to her and she had fulfillment serving in a program to help people learn to read at Bridgerland Technical College, serving as a teacher to those trying to learn English as a Second Language, along with helping at the library. Alice has a lifelong history of supporting families and organizations that care for and assist families, including CAPSA, Habitat for Humanity, and The Family Place. Equally important, Alice loves music and taught herself to play the piano. Through the years she supported her children and others in developing their musical talents.
